A toast to the blogger: What's wrong with a 9-5? → reasontoexhale.tumblr.com

If we were to take Tumblr as a micro-cosm for society, you would be led to believe that the majority of people want to be Photographers, Dancers, Singers, Rappers, Actors, Writers etc. I’m not knocking that by no means.

But where is the passion for having a career such as Medicine? Law?…

…hmm, I think those people are too busy either studying to become that, or DOING that, to be on Tumblr anyway.

The web being an excellent resource for exposure and networking, you should expect the majority to be something along the lines of entertainment/art. A guy/woman of Medicine doesn’t need to make a blog or a YouTube channel to go save lives in a hospital… but a musician would.

…dude, don’t worry. 9-5s are still in.

…so this guy right here is my homie. We’ve known each other for like, ever. He went with me to the Lupe show in Dallas, and this happened:

image

…he rapped “Nothin’ On You” with B.o.B! It was craaaaazy!!! He had some chick up there that didn’t know the words, so he came back to our side looking for someone and I spazzed trying to get him up there…

Ah man… great times. I still can’t get over that.

A Kid Named Pheno: Last Night, I Saw A Great Show → akidnamedpheno.tumblr.com

After a four hour drive from Tulsa, Oklahoma to Dallas, Texas, I saw something i’ve been waiting 4 years to see. Lupe Fiasco, LIVE. I honestly believe he’s a top 10 performer now. A young man named Dosage opened for Lupe & B.o.B. He set the tone for the show, you had better be on your feet and…

…the show was most definitely amazing. Haha, and the guy that was up on stage with B.o.B was my homie!!!!!! LOLOL, I was spazzing trying to get him up there… ‘cause we’re big fans of the guy, and everyone else around us was being lame.

We drove from Jackson, Mississippi, which is 6 hrs, so that happening on top of just seeing Lupe was incredible… a memorable night for us.
