this might get a lot of controversy, but honestly Jay z use to be a great rapper... he should've retired tho. i use to be a huge fan; his old shit is amazing. but lyrically he doesn't compare to wayne. wayne is a philosopher. kid went to school for philosophy. his commercial shit is questionable.. but at the same time, every artist has to put out something everyone (including white people) in order to make big numbers. wayne is a lyricist.. jay z use to be.
